Successful research and development can only be achieved through the continuous exchange of ideas among participants, who are ideally in close physical proximity. This is one of the reasons why technology centers are often placed next to research facilities, like universities. There, science and education interconnect to create additional synergies.
Publicly subsidized institutions are mostly obligated or pressured to publish their research. This is different for companies that are mainly funded by cooperating with non-public institutions. There, requested publication activities are rather exceptional, because new findings have to serve the owner of the invention.
SOLID – CHEM GmbH has a special connection to scientific research, which is very apparent in the thought process and approaches of our staff. We tap into synergies with universities and other institutions via regular exchanges, and, if possible, we publish results of fundamental significance.
